CHEM-TRAN® Poison Exemption Shipping Systems
Special Permit Shipping allows you to transport hazardous materials that fall outside standard regulations using DOT-authorized packaging. We provide compliant, secure solutions tailored to your specific shipping needs.
CHEM-TRAN® Economy-Pax Tall Can for Liquids or Solids
No Hazardous Label Required for shipments within the U.S.A.
Allows the shipment of hazardous materials in a wide variety of glass, plastic, or metal inner containers, each 1 liter (32 oz.) or less in size.
IIt allows the RSC inner box to hold the required metal can for liquid inner packs. Most solid types need no can. The exemption lets you ship up to four inner boxes in one outer box, reducing shipping costs.
DOT-SP 10977 NO LABEL REQUIRED
Federal Industries operates under Exemption DOT-SP 10977 (Thirteenth Revision), which authorizes us to manufacture certified performance-oriented packaging for hazardous materials. In most cases, this exemption allows us to ship these materials without applying hazard labels or placards. It includes authorization for shipping “Pyrophoric” substances. The exemption limits each inner packaging to 1 liter (32 oz.) for liquids and 2.9 kg (6.39 lbs.) for solids.
